about.
Growing up Sophie always had a strong interest in art, taking various art and textile courses with local artists Julian Frasier and Lizzie Cox. Sophie went on to study art at A Level, where she was able to experiment with a variety of techniques and develop her own style.
Since graduating from University with a First Class degree in Business Management, Sophie set up her website as a creative outlet alongside her career and to showcase her work. It has also been a motivating factor for Sophie to pick up her brushes again and start producing new art work to add to her portfolio!
A lot of the inspiration for her work comes from West Somerset, where she grew up. Sophie has commented on how fortunate she is to have grown up in such a beautiful part of the world and her work has heavily influenced by the stunning coast line as well as the surrounding countryside, particularly Exmoor National Park.

gallery.
I currently have 3 collections, each displaying its own style. Different media and techniques have been used to produce each collection. To find out more information about how each original piece was created click into a piece of artwork.

printing.
We work closely with Courtyard Gallery and Framing who specialise in Fine Art Digital Printing. All original artwork has been scanned or photographed at high resolutions. Each piece is then individually adjusted providing a perfect colour match to the original piece.
All of our Giclée prints are printed on high quality archival German etching paper using pigment based inks which complement the paper to achieve the perfect print.
We also offer the option for some of our items to be produced on canvas. All of our canvas prints are printed on stretched solid wood canvas's using lightfast pigment inks on a 405gsm canvas with an extruded and blurred edge. The combination of materials and the processes taken to produce these prints result in a crisp finish with astonishing depth of colour. After printing a satin lamination is applied. This gives the canvas a satin finish and prevents the ink from cracking and fading.

commissions.
Like the style of my art work, but can't quite find the right piece to go in your space?
Get in touch for an original piece that is personal to you and will fit perfectly in the space you wish.
I will work with you closely to create a unique piece that works for you.
To help me create the perfect piece, I will require photos of the space where the art work is to be installed. This will enable me to match colours and decipher tones. When producing abstract landscapes and seascapes I always like to try and visit the location where possible to take photos to work from. Where this is not possible I may ask for any photos you have of the location to work from. You may even have a specific photo you would like me to work from to base your commission on.
During the process I will take progression photos - which I can share with you - at various stages to make sure you are happy with the direction that the piece is going. I am open to feedback, so if you feel you would like more of certain colour or for it to be lighter or darker I can work to make any adjustments.
Any commissions will be showcased on my website or social media, but they are to be exclusive to my clients and therefore won't be available to purchase as prints. They may however appear in my card range.
If you would like to discuss a possible commission and or receive a quote, please do get in contact.
Please note that a deposit will be taken at the beginning of each commission with the final balance being taken when your new piece of work is complete.
